I'm actually pretty happy to see most of 'em go. Except for Mewtwo. Lucario's got NOTHING on Mewtwo.

Well, Pichu and Doctor Mario I'm kinda glad to see are leaving, since while both are fun to fight (Doctor Mario especially), it was annoying that both of them were simply clones of Pikachu and Mario (although I gotta admit, Dr. Mario's music sure rocks socks ). Roy, well, he was no surprise, since his inclusion in Melee was simply to advertise his game in Japan, so I always knew that he wouldn't make it in Brawl, but it still is a bit of a let-down for me. Young Link... well, okay, so he's being replaced with Cell-Shaded Link. Not really surprising, but still. I'm going to miss him. A lot. As for Mewtwo...? Geez, Nintendo, what's the deal with cutting out him? Now, while Mewtwo wasn't always one of my favorite characters to use, he's still a pretty solid fighter, and he, at the very least, wasn't a goddess-darned clone of someone. So why the heck cut him from the Brawl roster, and replace him with Lucario? Lucario's an okay Pokémon and all, but compared to Mewtwo, Lucario would be crushed within five seconds of the match. *sighs* I guess that's why Nintendo threw out Mewtwo... Probably the same reason why they didn't make Parthena a playable character, either... I still don't get it why we didn't get others like Chibi-Robo...

And geez, Nintendo, why couldn't you've at least replace Lucas's PSI Magnet with PK Ground?

And finally, knowing Nintendo, I'll bet you anything that they're going to go ahead and let Pit's new design rot away instead of creating a new game for him to star in.

I'm happy to see Mewtwo and Pichu go, we have enough damn pokemon. Roy's removal was completely unnecessary, but Doctor Mario was jsut slow and useless, because most of Mario's moves where speed based.

All characters except for Mewtwo where not original. They where copied off other characters.

Young Link was replaced with Windwaker Link because Young Link was two generations ago in Ocarina of Time, Wind Waker is newer and fresher and generally more well known by younger gamers.

I was thinkign of something like that. Poor Pichu (even though I am so glad he left). Mewtwo and Roy leaving is terrible. Both are good fighters. Dr. Mario and Young Link were bad. Mewtwo was my best character in Melee and now that he isn't in Brawl, who will be my best? T-T

mewtwo was my best character in melee, i had lots of good memory's with him, like when i got the giga bowser trophy as him etc, why must he go, he is not even a clone and since mewtwo left by lucario's foult, i will kick his butt as hard as i want to kick the butt's of sonic and snake grrrrr

man, mewtwo, young link and pichu were 3 of my best characters, i can understand 4 of em, which all 4 could be remedied with a costume change, but Mewtwo deserves to return, at least he had an original move set
