Duskull's Halloween

My latest and (teacher actually said so) greatest painting. Full-on realism here. Started as classwork, but my Computer media class didn't happen after painting, so I finished it in my newly liberated 3 hours.

This is my Duskull plush atop a shiny green thermous thing I found on the table in front of me in class. It was only after I painted it did I realize it's similarity to a Mario Warp Pipe. It was late October, and Duskull is a Ghost-type, so I made it Halloweeny and gave it a dusk-like orange gradation for the background, like candy corn or an upside down sunset.

The jack-o-lanturn face at the bottom is there cuz my teacher was all "when you do the eyes, include some of that pink into the bottom backgronud, to tie the two together" and I thought, and still think, that was a stupid isea, but I did it. It looked like smeared crap, so I pumpkinized it. But, when he gave me my midterm review earlier that class, he DID say my paintings were fun to look at, and he DID say he predicts something big for me, and he DID say that what he had seen so far that this was my best painting yet, so I forgive.

This is actually a Photoshoped compotition of a few photos I took of the painting...the glare really ruined it, so I took pieces that were non-glared and stiched 'em together.
